The bikini has always been more than a few swatches of fabric tied together by a string, and it certainly can't be limited by a number. It's always been more of a State of Mind, like a "staycation". If people can just make up any kind words like that, then I can offer the very rare, limited release One Piece Bikini. Get one before they no longer exist. :)

The Super Versatile Oversized Pareo -

The term "pareo" is of Tahitian origin and is commonly associated with the Polynesian and Hawai'ian cultures.

Much like sarongs, pareos are also rectangular, but they are generally larger than sarongs. The 808 Oversized Pareos comes in one size (), and the 100% soft, recyclable polyester is light and sheer, making them ideal for draping and tying in a variety of unique styles.

Why it matters: because the pareo is 100% polyester—not a blend—it can be mechanically or chemically recycled back into new polyester fiber at the end of its life. Our bikinis use a stretch polyester blend for the fit swimwear needs, and blended fabrics can't be cleanly separated the same way, so they're much harder to recycle at scale. Same island, different afterlife.

Pareos are closely associated with beach, tropical islands, and resort wear. They are often used as bikini cover-ups, beach towels, or even as picnic style blankets. The lightweight and sheer nature of pareos makes them suitable for warm, beachy settings like here on the North Shore of Oahu.

As far as fashion goes, we tend to lean towards pareos as the ultimate choice in versatility. These beautiful garments easily transition from beach going to a night out on the town.
